How To Apply Crazy Colour

Application, wear suitable gloves and apply petroleum jelly around the hairline to avoid staining.
Do not use metallic tools, clips, combs, etc.
Crazy Colour works best on hair that has been pre-lightened to level 9 or 10.
After shampooing the hair and towel drying, apply chosen Crazy Colour, beginning at the roots and working in sections.
Spreading evenly from the roots, begin to work it out through to the mid lengths of the hair.
Once the roots to tip of the hair is covered, work the colour into each section using the hands until the product starts to froth slightly, and each section is saturated.
Once the product application is complete, leave for 15-30 minutes depending on your hair condition. For grey coverage, leave the colour on for 1 hour for maximum development time.
Rinse with lukewarm water only, without shampoo and follow with Rainbow Hair Conditioner. The colour will last 10 washes when correct aftercare is followed.

How To Perform A Hair Colour Strand Test With Crazy Colour Hair Dye

Choose a hidden section of hair to work with. You will be applying a small amount of hair dye to this area so ensure that it can be well hidden if you decide that the colour isnt for you. Alternatively, cut off a small piece of hair and test the dye on this lock of hair. Please note, if you do choose to cut a strand to test, allergies and skin reactions to dye are not being tested.
Next, apply 1 tablespoon of your dream Crazy Colour Hair Dye to your sample. Always apply the dye to wet hair for optimum results. Ensure that you evenly coat the strand to maximise full colour coverage, unless it's the tie-dye look you are after of course!
Let the dye soak in for approximately 15 minutes, or if your hair is thick or coarse you should leave it on for around 30 minutes. This allows the dye to fully coat the hair to create a vivid tone.
Rinse the strand of hair using cold water to reveal your new vibrant hair colour. This is the moment of truth where you need to decide if you want to proceed with your new look!
Remember it can take up to 24 hours for any allergic reactions to surface. If you experience no reactions you are free to go crazy and colour!
For best results the hair must be porous, bleached or tinted. When applying to virgin hair only partial colour action may occur, to maximize results pre-softening the hair will assist with colour penetration. When colouring one or more sections of the hair, each section must be coloured, rinsed and also dried separately. We recommend using our Crazy Colour Bleaching kit for best results!
