If the styler is too hot it can cause irreversible damage to the hair and if it's too cold it doesn't create a long lasting style.
Due to rigorous testing in our labs, the scientists have discovered that the optimum styler plate temperature should be 185 C to create long lasting, quick styles and causing less damage.
Ghd stylers deliver a superior temperature control through the use of high calibre sensors, heater technology and top quality.
Ghd platinum and ghd curve use our patented tri-zone technology featuring three sensors and three heating zones per plate to deliver a constant 185 C, even on the most challenging hair types.

How To Use GHD Curve Creative Curl Wand

GHD Curve Creative Curl WandFor natural, tousled curls; section the hair into 2cm wide and deep pieces. Flat wrap the hair around the barrel for a fuller curl, holding the hair in place for 5-8 seconds. Alternatively, twist wrap the hair around the barrel to create a beachy wave effect.

Style Tip:

Use the ghd curl hold spray to prep hair before curling - this will not only protect the hair from the heat of the curler, but also ensure your curls are long-lasting. For a sleek, glamorous look; curl all sections of hair in the same direction. For a more volumised look; alternate from wrapping sections of hair under and over the barrel to create curls that bounce off each other. Use a ghd detangling comb to soften the hair or a ghd paddle brush to smooth your curls.
